Web Producer (London)

Global West End interactive television company are currently seeking an experienced Web producer. The Web Producer will be responsible for the running and scheduling of a popular award winning childrens broadband site. Other responibilites include: schedule, update and maintain all aspects of the broadband site. Write and proof read teaser text. Brief Designer to produce promotional billboards. Make editorial judgements on images, copy and video. Liaise with creative services department to get approvals for graphics. liaise with programming and video on demand to agree episode, short form video and clip updates. Update the site via the content management system. Assist with the sourcing, commissioning and production of games for the site. Provide source material and assets to game Developers. Liaise with the Developers and marketing department to ensure marketing plan is on track. The successful candidate will need to have: prior experience of producing, maintaining and scheduling Websites. Strong writing and proofreading skills with a good eye for style and grammar. Good editorial judgement. Good organisational skills. An interest in cartoons. An interest in games. Understanding and knowledge of Web technologies. This is an initial six month contract that could go perm for the right candidate.
