hey, Generation-Studios has just been set up and we are looking for freelance designers for our templates and homepage. I don't want portfolios off anyone but I, if anyone is willing am setting a challenge. I have designed a pretty poor page at http://www.btinternet.com/~chris.p.price/design/HTML/
what i would like you to do is redesign it for us and we will just the best few as our freelance designers.
As we hav only just started all we can offer is unlimited space on our ftp at the moment. If you are interested please e-mail me at pricey__@hotmail.com or PM me.

Is your name a clue to your rates ?

That design is a template monster design is it not ?

And you are asking people to design for you in exchange for ftp space ???

i am no professional designer and just used this template as an example. At the moment where are looking for desings in exchange for ftp space etc. but when we begin to make money we of course be paying the designers, this is just a temporary thing, like the site :p

if we like then you get unlimited space on the server and we can get the site up and running, we put our ftp service and template up for sale and agree a price for each template/ custom site sold between us and the designer

yes i am no professional designer, i manage servers at a major tele house. I can design in flash etc if i want but not professionally.

ok look goes like this,
1.) you show us front page of how you would have our site
2.) if we like it we set up axx for you on our ftp, unlimited.
3.) with the site up we are able to sell our ftp service and web design from the designers
3.) we agree prices for templates etc with the designers and split the money obviously the designers getting more as they do the work

pricley - ignore Oli he's a failed template designer and often loses it. I think he's on drugs too.

I however might take up your offer. I've got to go shopping with my mum tonight but can do a few hours tomorrow evening after school.
