Big Red Button is looking for a talented artist or illustrator to create apocalyptic scenes and foregrounds for an animation pitch. The characters are 2D cartoon robots and we'd like to back them up with strong scenarios of destruction and devastation. Think smoldering rubble, decimated buildings, apocalyptic skies, rats, toxic clouds, corpses - it's a great opportunity for you to really go to town and show us the warped extent of your creativity.

The project is unpaid at the moment but is currently pitching for development funding and there is a possibility of deferred payment. This first, one-off animation is also a pilot for a television series and there would be continuing professional work for the successful applicant. Ideas and enthusiasm are more important than professional experience. Please attach examples of previous work with your application or sketch us up something you think we'd like to see.
