Hello, My name is Neil and I'm the owner of The Absolute Gaming League, which is a new gaming league currently in development. When we launch we will make an impact on the gaming community and are dedicated to become a very well respected and known league. We will be hosting games such as Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike:Source, Counter-Strike:Condition Zero, Day of Defeat, Day of Defeat:Source, Battlefied 2, Call of Duty 2, Quake 4, and Warcraft 3. I am in dire need of designer/coder volunteers who can take on this project. I know it seems like a lot but I simply can't afford to pay anybody what they would ask for the site I would need. You really need to find a dedicated gamer who is handy with a bit of PHP or web design rather than approach designers and developers on a forum like this. Unless there's any really dedicated gamers on this forum willing to give up a bit of time, you're not likely to have much success in finding a freebie.

I know there probably isn't much of a gamer population on these boards, but I figured I would give it a shot. I already have a couple people who have contacted me and showed interest anyways. Obviously I can't contribute much, it's a gaming community so there's no money being exchanged and since I'm a college student I can't put much into it myself, that's why I'm asking for volunteers. What I can contribute is my dedication to see that it goes far and that the coders work wouldn't go to waste and I'm contributing my time to run the league along with other admins once it's up and running. If you have a problem with that, I don't care, don't come at me saying "then don't expect to get anything in return" or something along those lines.

But yes, it would have to be very secure which is why my skills wouldn't suffice to make the website myself. My background lies in Photoshop and enough HTML to get around and make solid sites, but I know very little PHP and wouldn't be able to make it myself.

And by the way making an IRC channel isn't contributing, it's a means of communication that a lot of the gaming community uses, that's why I put that on there.
