Yep, but I need the car, mine's too beat up to take it out of the parking lot. Anyway, as I was saying, I hope to make it up with freelance jobs. I'll probably have to work for 100Euros/site, but that's ok, I guess...

How are you at logo creation, perhaps you could specialise?

Did you design your robot avatar?

Yep, I designed it, and most of the others I had.
Don't know what to say about logos, have a look here and here Some of the ids I worked on.
I know the site is kind of hard to navigate, never had the time to change it.

Agreed - are they kidding? Isn't the minimum wage for a junior web designer about £17-£18K these days...? You know the old saying - "pay peanuts and you get monkeys"

Ook.

my first job in the industry I got 10.5K. 3 months later was on 14K, 6 months after that it was 18K. After a couple of years was at 25K before I left to work for myself. You have to start somewhere no?

The job emails I get every day still show a range of £14k - £25k for the same kind of jobs....
Lots that still pay up to £20k but still want 2 or 3 years ASP or PHP to boot....

You get what you can I suppose.....
I reckon 'minimum wage' is still only about £5 per hour or so ??

I count my blessings (but I still want more money...)

Considering the average house prices here are aound 250 large, £11k basic probably wouldn't even satisfy a college leaver - not sure how these agencies expect or demand skilled personnel with years experience. Doesn't Maccy D's pay out more for flipping burgers?
