Any applicants should have prior experience in the web industry, flash & actionscript are also vital,
as well as a comprehensive grasp of print and associated technologies.

Middleweight Web Designer

Position:
Middleweight Web Designer required to join our expanding team. You will have at least three years
industry experience and be able to design and build web sites to completion, with excellent
interpretation of a client brief. You will be confident in liasing with both clients and account managers.

Skills:
You will have excellent skills and experience using the following packages and technologies: Photoshop,
Flash with Actionscripting, HTML/XHTML, CSS. Print experience a must (InDesign and Illustrator).

Salary:
£17-22k depending on experience (although if the skills are there! could be more)

Location:
The position is based in Cardiff City Centre.

Junior Web Designer

Position:
Junior Web Designer required to join our expanding team. Able to design and build web sites to completion

honestly the quality (bar a few) is wank.

We were advertising for a junior graphic designer recently and out of 30 - 40 applications we reckoned 4 were worth interviewing. The standard just seems really poor at the moment. I think Aaron was having a similar problem.

Also you wouldn't believe the amount of people who enquire about jobs who haven't even used a Mac before! Don't know who to blame for this - I think most colleges and universities still use Macs for graphics based courses...
