Just wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to check if a certain domain has been banned in the past by google, etc?

Have found a potentially good domain (too good to be available) I might buy, but would like to check if it's been banned for prior misuse before i get it.

The easiest way to tell if your site has been banned and completely removed from Google's index is to enter the following into the Google search bar:

site:www.yoursite.com
(replace www.yoursite.com with the domain name of the site you think may be banned)
