Free Webspace
Hi guys im currently using www.websamba.com which is a free webhost (30mb, ftp, ASP) i use them for testing out sites. Their not to bad except when the servers busy you can be waiting hours before you can upload via ftp. My question is has anyone here got any experince of a free webhost that gives you a free ftp acount with say at least 50mb of space im not bothered if it dosent have stuff like asp and php. The most important thing for me is thier uptime. |

you get what you pay for. how about not spunking your student loan on drink and drugs and buying some cheap webspace? clara will sort you out for £30 a year. actually, forget that. that's a shit idea, go spunk your loan up the wall, you can buy webspace later on in life. carry on. |

If its just for testing then why not install Apache on your desktop. Hotscripts.com have a load of installers that will pop MySQL, PHP etc... from one download. I use XAMPP from http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Softwa...its/index.html |

i would reccomend www.heartinternet.co.uk they give you free hosting if you look hard enough! i'm with them for free and they're fast on the upload and have never gone down with me (excuse the potential sexual connotations there) |
