Becoming a reseller?
I was poking around the web this morning and I was looking at various "reseller" programs for domains and hosting. What exactly would this entail if someone wanted to get into this game? Are reseller programs with a 99$ fee a scam? How easy/hard is this to do (I'd imagine just being a domain reseller is far easier than selling hosting). Please don't get me wrong, anyone who is doing this: I don't think it's something that is totally simple. I was just wondering, what would this business actually be like? Thanks... |

Not a scam but there are better deals, for example eNom $8.95 reseller domain accounts are generally available for free (from me for example) but will require a $100 topup. Reselling webhosting can cost from a few quid a month if you look around BUT please think about the implications of running a hosting company - 24/7 support, tech knowledge etc....
