Ok so a few years ago i made my brother a website. As a payment he got extra space and a domain name for me.

Now he's decided he's not using it enough to justify what he spends on it.

How easy is it to change it all to my name and also downsize the package to a smaller one without losing all my stuff on the interwebs?

EDIT: bare in mind i'm a complete n00b to all this kinda stuff

you'll have to get in touch with the hosting company ... they'll tell ya.

you should get a decent personal hosting account for £25 a year or so ...
