pop3 hosting
what's the easiest way to get a pop3 email address with your own domain on it? if you order a domain name you can forward it but not set up a mailbox can you only do it if you order webspace? ::: TC Magazine :::

This is it - ground zero.

IMO, certain places could potentially be cheaper if you just set up hosting and used their control panel to set up pop3 accounts. Then, you're probably not going to be limited to 1 e-mail addy, too. fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!

Uh, that's a negative...so used to seeing that figure per month, that I missed it was for the year. Go with it if that's what you need, definitely. Or, wait for a few more views on this post to see what others come up with. fun: HGC v.4 | last.fm: DT | me | oi! f*ck u roto: ...via meebo!

Said it before but... Best budget hosting is Supanames - £15 a year. http://www.supanames.co.uk/index.php?page=vhost You'd get a domain name and catch-all email system with that. Probably not what you're after, but someone might find it useful. |

Many Hosting companies do 'Mail-Parking' plans, which is exactly what i believe you are reffering to. They are designed to give you the Mail features you get with hosting plans (i.e POP3 Accounts, WebMail), but without the actual hosting. Obviously the plan works out cheaper than buying one with hosting. IF you wish, check out: http://www.liquidsix.com/hosting/mail.asp. YES this is a company i am part of, no intensional advertising meant, the link however will give a better demonstration of 'Mail Parking' and what you get and don't get with it. |
