what web hosting company it is better to choose

Hey guys, I am sorry I would like to warn I am nowise in web hosting services. I am planning to have an internet shopping web site developed for selling sewing machines and I need to choose affordable web hosting provider at the moment. I have found the list of popular hosting companies and various discount coupons at hostingcoupons.com Which of these hosting companies would you recommend me to choose for successful development of my web site. What factors do I have to take into consideration when choosing hosting provider. Thanks in advance.

The BEST hosting companies are either HostMonster, HostGator, Bluehost or LunarPages. You choose.

i've heard bad things about hostgator.

im probably gonna try asmallorange.com myself. they actually seem pretty honest about what they offer, and aren't just another "we'll give you 100 million gb of space + 3035035 zillion gb of bandwidth for 1 dollar!" crap that most budget hosts try to shit on you with.

Hey Andrey,
choosing a reliable host is a very tedious job, hosting industry is overpopulated so it's very hard to get one who is affordable and reliable. You should do your home work before paying any one, don't go with any review or discount coupons sites who are advertising for all paid host at their site, you cannot expect much better service from them.
Rather i will suggest you to go with a host who has good reputation in this hosting industry, if you have chosen one do crosscheck for their level of service and response time by placing few pre-sales queries, call them get on their live chat etc...
Forum such as WHT or DP will help you for comments on your chosen host.

If you are much serious about hosting, please let me know your hosting requirements so that i can help you too.
We at Web Hosting UK | Dedicated Server | VPS Hosting are UK based hosting service provider with 24x7 live chat, email and phone support.
Please have a look at site in my signature for more on our hosting plans.

iblastoff - I recommend A Small Orange. I'm not with them any longer, but if I ever change hosts again, I'm going back to them. Great service and reliability for the money.

I've had great results for dedicated server leases from theplanet.com (Actually started out with rackshack.net who were bought by ev1servers.net who were bought by theplanet.com).

A Small Orange - Web Hosting, Software and more! - HOSTGATOR WEB HOSTING - cPanel, Reseller, and Dedicated Website Hosting - MOSSO :: The Hosting System - Home - all good providers. Moss isn't cheap, but it's solid and the support is great. For small plans on a budget aso and hostgator are good.

I've read some pretty bad things about A Small Orange as of late: A Small Orange Forums > Started Well But Now Sucks!

on their own forums... maybe just a problem at that point that's been fixed since then though. I'm currently on media temple which is pretty good, no complaints so far... I've been with them for 2 years now
