Hi folks,

I have a load of websites and more lined up and I am looking for a host that allows plenty of individual domains (up to 100 and not limited to 10 for example)

I've been looking for hosts and found a few in the UK which I still need to investigate further, but hosts based in the USA such as mediatemple look ideal! I have read plenty of good things about them and the fact they are cheap is a bonus (altho not the most important factor)

The question is will the fact they are based in the USA effect my search engine results at all? the domains will be .co.uk ones!

I have heard that uk hosting is better for uk domains ...
... but dunno if thats gospel or not ??

I use wiserhosting - and while they have datacentres in uk and abroad they will physically host you on the uk servers if you specify it as a requirement ...

thanks for your reply mate!

i did some more digging and found out that its fine, especially if you have a .co.uk domain name!

I signed up with mediatemple, all seems good up to yet!!

If you are more concern about ranking you should host your site with UK host who have their servers in UK. This will help you to rank well in UK.
US host may not help you for ranking top in Google UK.
If you still looking UK host with their server in UK i can help you

i don't believe it will efftect your SERP rank ... which ever host provides the best service it think go with them ... :-) ...
