Video clips and bandwidth?

I'm looking to change my current host but I'm not clear on bandwidth and how it works. My website has six Windows Media video clips amounting to about 10mb each- 60mb in total, can anyone tell me what amount of bandwidth I need? Say if 100 people visited my site in one month and viewed the six videos how much bandwidth would i need to accommodate these visitors? thanks

i think you would be safe with a plan that offers at least 100GB of bandwidth, i have a bodybuilding forum running vBulletin with about 500 members posting crap and running a muck, on a plan that offers 100GB of bandwidth and we dnt manage to get anywhere near that

Hope this helps...im still new to this

If you're unsure, just make sure you have the option of upgrading to a bigger plan and that you won't get charged for extra bandwidth usage.

Upload you video clips on some video sharing sites and then limit the access with a password.

This is not a better solution if you want to share your videos over the net/site, better try to get reliable host who offers you good bandwidth at low prices.

Make sure you read the small print, hosts that offer huge bandwidth normally put in a disclaimer to stop you hosting files that will be downloaded over and over that causes the bandwidth to be hogged. Shop around.

Yeah, avoid host who are claiming "UNLIMITED" bandwidth and diskspace with their hosting plans They are just overselling their products better go with a host who is reliable and assure you maximum uptime guarantee with 24x7 support.
