Hi Frenz. I currently somehow manage http://AssamChess.org; a social service from my side. It was inside my mind to get hold of the .com domain too someday.

But I now see that it is acquired by some "Domain Park Limited", who are simply parking the domain. They got the domain only of Sep 5.

Please let me know my future course of action, so as to get hold of that domain.

Contact the owner and ask how much they would sell it for.

Beyond that, I wouldn't know the process since I've never bought a domain from a person before.

I have sold quite a few domain names.

The only way you can get this name is for the owner to sell it or to wait until it drops (expires and the owner declines to re-register it) the owner will always have first refusal.

If the name is parked it normally means that the owner will sell it, unless he is making a load of cash through PPC revenue, or plans to develop the name into a website of his own, if not he will have a price.

I suggest you start off really low, and don't be to enthusiastic otherwise he will bump up the price, also try to avoid telling him you own the .org and have developed it.

I simply distaste Cybersquatters. I have decided not to reply. I do not need that domain. My site is for an organization and the org domain is a perfect fit for it.
