Don't Bother

I rented a VPS from them and it was trouble from day 1.

1. They lied to me to get me to do business with them.
2. They set me up with a Windows server. I specifically requested Linux.
3. Their tech support staff cannot answer the simplest questions.
4. I transferred 2 domains to them and they CHANGED THE NAMESERVERS!
5. It took me a month to get the information out of them to administer the domains - in that time I lost two good customers.
6. Uptime in the fall of 2006 was about 94%.
7. They claim that the server crashed in October of 2006. It took them a week to "rebuild" it. They refused to put me on another server.
8. php.ini was configured incorrectly on the "rebuilt" server so that no PHP script would run properly. I gave them the proper settings, but they refused to make corrections.
9. One month to the day after the alleged "crash" the allegedly "rebuilt" server was down for 2 days. No explanation was ever given.
10. A few months ago they suspended my account and erased the hard drive, claiming an e-mail "attack on Yahoo". The "attack" consisted of 17 e-mails that I could not verify as having been sent or received. I was just recovering from a problem with my own computer that required reformatting my hard drive. I did not have enough time to download 2 of my sites after my computer recovered. Another 2 customers they cost me.

Stay as far away from I-power as you can.

A general rule of thumb - if they are offering a lot of service for a low price, it's a scam. As soon as you try to use much of your allotted space they will suspend your account making some wild claim as they did with me.
