A Hosting site

Im trying to design a hosting site and want to go for something different, the sites at the moment all seem to have boring faded montages of server hardware / stock smiling happy cheesy faces.

Anyone got any ideas for something to break the mould ? Or any examples of a hosting site that is actually a bit different ?

Pipeten.com and switchmedia.co.uk are two, but again they are a bit dull.

Cheers.

is the company actually willing to go for something different?
off the top of my head: what about using a birds nest? seen it before - but you could push the concept further - visually.
(cuckoos drop off their eggs in other birds nests )
but it's probably a bad idea...

well yeah, its my company. I think a birds nest might be pushing it a little too far tho
I want something professional looking but Id like it to stand out a bit as well, or is that just not possible.

Well for one...if you really want to get people saying "wow, I want to use them" I wouldnt do what every other hosting company does, which is get photos of *ahem* "real life" people with their computers and stuff like a photo of a server...instead, I might show things that a website could be used for, like instead of the different photo for each page of a server and a guy next to it, put a clever use of a site w/ a discription...Im sure it would look better if you came up with your own ideas...but heres a example of what Im talking about...

huh?huh? cool right? anyway...thats my idea...

Is that LOL for my post? what you dont get it?
ok, you know how hosting sites show people with a laptop or a line of servers? well I think instead of those over-used images...have graphics that show what a site could be used for... show a bakery or something and say "small business" ...see? I think that would show the visitors that websites are for more than just huge companys...
