I've not heard of them before either. I can recommend pipeten.com. Solid service, good uptime, support and prices. |

You used to do this on Cre@te too - if you have an 'interest' in a company, in my opinion its not very ethical to pass off as an independent testimonial. At least put it in your sig, or say 'my company offers...'. You also didn't read my post - I [b:08d29ae625]didn't[/b:08d29ae625] ask for any recommendations for hosting companies. I asked for opinions and experiences of a particular company. I have looked at PipeTen in the past, and it didn't do what I needed. |

OK, fair point I am involved with Pipe Ten. The user called PipeTen is one of the other partners. I still stand by what I said. Pipe Ten do have a solid service, good uptime, support and prices. Also I'd like to point out this is this the first time I have ever mentioned Pipe Ten on this forum. I'm not a violent person. Where abouts in Sheffield are you based? I've just strated freelancing having left the last company I worked for on Ecclesall Road. |

[quote:a7d5e7669e="octane"]Also what was it you needed that Pipe Ten didn't offer?[/quote:a7d5e7669e] I'm basically looking for a dedicated server, to resell hosting as needed - not just to resell packages (as I am at the moment). Not really a criticism, but more for your info - I was also put off by the lack of telephone support, or even a postal address published on the site. |

I've not worked for Zoo although weird that you should mention them as they have just offered me an interview yesterday for a full time position. It says in my portfolio which companies I did each bits of work for. I have worked for serveral different companies now across the north of England the last one I worked at where I did all the computer game stuff was Polymedia International. The freelancing is going ok. As I am just starting the biggest problem is getting the new clients but I seem to have just accumulated the ones I've got from people I know and have worked with in the past. I haven't got any from sources that I don't know yet though but I've not tried that hard, I have been too busy! |

Pipe Ten are just starting to sell dedicated servers but are not advertising it to everyone yet as it is just being trialled to see if it is worthwhile. The shared hosting packages do offer multiple domains and sites within the accounts and that facility is quite popular but I guess it depends how much space you need and how many clients you want to host. |

Zoo are doing the DVD versions. The actual mobile games were made by a company in manchester called Firesoft. I just did all the packaging and design for them. I'm not sure I want to go full time again for somebody else, I am quite enjoying working for myself in the hours I choose. Do you work for yourself? |

Also the facility to allow users to change their own e-mail forwarding, etc. |
