Hosting - outlook mail server

I have a customer, small business, is interested in using a hosting company that will offer outlook mail servers.

Any suggestions of reliable companies that I could use/suggest?

Thanks

that depends, microsoft do a mail server called microsoft exchange. This is usually quite expensive.

If however you just want a mail account where you can pick up the mail using outlook this is different.

Which is it you are after?

Thanks for you message.

Sorry I wasn't specific. I am looking for a company that will provide ms exchange server capability.

An example..I think of what I have found so far is what this company offers:
Hosted Exchange - Unlock the potential of Outlook Email

My company provides Exchange mail server capability. It comes with any web hosting plan.

I was just PM'd so I need to clarify:

My company can provide this service with any hosting plan that gives you *root* access; so this would be our VDS (virtual dedicated servers) or Dedicated Server plans. Obviously, you don't get root access on a shared server plan.

Correct me if I'm wrong rfresh, if someone bought a VPS from you they would still need to purchase licenses for MSExchange which is several hundred dollars and they will still need to look after this themselves.

I'm not sure that is what Monkey Business is after.

http::// [remove space]order.1and1.co.uk/xml/order/MailExchange may be what you are after.

That is partly correct. When you normally purchase a Virtual or dedicated server you are responsible for putting what ever you need on it. You control the software applications completely. So, if you need Exchange, then yes you have to buy a license for it. That's what you want so you have to pay for it.

The partly thing I mentioned is that we can handle the software installations for him if he doesn't want to do it himself. Yes, he would have to maintain it if there are any configuration issues to do. But for software installs and updates, he can opt to have us handle that for him. In any event, getting setup for Exchange mail capability is going to be pricey if you go with a dedicated box and less if you can make use of a VDS box instead. But I agree, either way, one is looking at an investment greater than shared web hosting!
