Please help
I have an offer for hosting a web site. The offer says that I have 300 mb web space with 9000 mb traffic. And it has an unlimited subdomains. My point is that I want to host several webpages. And can anyone explain me the word subdomain. Can I register several webpages with different names like www.aaaa.com www.bbb.com www.ccc.com or I can register only like his www.aaa.com www.bbb.aaa.com and etc. Thanks in advance Dime. |

www.aaa.com and www.bbb.com are separate domains - not pages. A subdomain is - something.aaa.com. A website is a collection of pages - www.designerstalk.com is a website. A page is a single...well...page on that website. For example, this thread is a "page" of www.designerstalk.com. Domains: Top-level domain (TLD) = .com, .edu, .gov, .co.uk, etc. Domain Name = cnn, designerstalk, youtube Subdomain = blah., forums. So, you could have forums.cnn.gov (if it existed) or blah.youtube.co.uk Subdomain + domain name + top level domain. So, unlimited subdomains means you have unlimited subdomains within one domain. For example: a.aaa.com, b.aaa.com, c.aaa.com, d.aaa.com, e.aaa.com, f.aaa.com, etc. |
