I have registered a uk.com domain (i.e. example.uk.com), and I want to link it to my web hosting which is with another company.

Unfortunately, when I try to initiate a transfer I get message up saying;

"Please type in a domain name without a subdomain."

Does this mean I've registered a domain and can't even host a site on it?!

Can't you just change nameserver settings?
