Pricing Question

Hi All,

I have a question (this is not an advertisement). I started my own web/dedicated server hosting. The reason why I am posting here because I know most customers
for such business are web designers/developers/etc...

I have a value package for $50.00 a month which includes

877mhz to 1.2ghz celeron
80gb hd
256 Ram

Is that too much to charge for such server?

Any input would be appreciated.

thank you

-John

Processor's a bit slow, but it's not bad. A fair price, I'd say. I won't say that with 100% certainty until I get an idea of how much bandwidth you're offering as well.

Cellerons are usually fine for web server hosting, as long as you're not running intense stuff like Microsoft SQL server, etc.

Send a message via Skype™ to lyndon
is it a VPS offering? Otherwise how are you splitting the processor between clients?

Dont pay anything less than $100/pm for a dedicated server, you will regret it if you do, even $100 is the low end. You would be better off going with a decent shared hosting plan for $50/pm
