Anyone used them, they have a basic hosting package for £24, which seems a liitle too cheap to me, would like to know if theres an obvious catch i'm missing

I notice it doesn't mention anything about how much bandwidth you can use.
Also you only get 10MB of MySQL storage, which if you're actually planning on using MySQL isn't very much really.

Slightly OT but I use them for my ADSL and would say they're pretty good. I've needed to call tech support once and they were very helpfull.

It mentions in the FAQ that they
"limit bandwidth indirectly by restricting the CPU usage of your website. This is set to 126mhz."
I wish that meant more to me, and when I see technical details used instead of laymans terms I get suspicious.

I don't see any logical reason why bandwidth (the amount of data you can transfer) has anything to do with CPU speed. I guess CPU speed could slow down your site, thereby limiting the bandwidth consumed (because people leave the site), but I don't see how they can have any sort of reliable metric to base their limits on. I'm not sure 126Mhz would work for what you need - I suppose it depends on the site. If I were you, I'd be suspicious, too - and I'd look for a better host.
