Pipex Hosting
Just thought I'd let you guys know of my experience with Pipex hosting if you are considering them. Well, our site has been down on and off my the last 4 days, and today has completely gone down for the next 12 hours while they rebuild the server! I've gotta say I'm pretty new to all this hosting stuff, but I'm shocked if this is the kind of thing that is to be expected. Anyway, their tech support is awesome, and the guys there seriously seem to know what they're doing, so regardless of their shocking shared hosting and customer service, we have decided to plunge for the VPS setup which seems pretty sweet. It give you control over basically everything you need on the server, and seems to run nice and quick..... so fingers crossed, www.tokyocube.com will be live again tomorrow with the new setup. |

pipex's recent focus does appear to be on aquisitions rather than customer service. I've been tempted to move everything to www.49pence.com lately - good pricing and stable network. |

My only experience with Pipex is for broadband access and I can't fault it. Their tech support guys seem to know their stuff and were very helpful when I had problems with an adsl modem which they didn't support. Eventually went with a router and everything was sweet. |
