Spamhaus - My host is using mail filters, need to move?

My webhosts, who have been good to me for many years, have decided to use spam filters, namely Spamhaus. I believe this has already led to a great reduction in new business leads.

Can anyone recomemend a host who does not filter mail and provides a good service or comment on the pros and cons of the Spamhaus list.

I am no fan of spam but this is fascism!!

spamhaus is a big bad list of spammers. the problem as I see it is that once spam originates from any network they blacklist that entire network - immediately the spammer moves because of the blacklist, then it takes an age for the network owner to get delisted.

ask them if they can still pass spam messages on to you, but with a modified subject - e.g. [SPAM] Blah Blah - that way you can sort it yourself.

I'm with webattention.net and dont have any problems.

Do you have informed your problem to the current host providers and whether they tried to resolve your problem?
