Lined paper bad

Hi all,

I've been asked to do a wedding invitation for some friends, and they want it to include a drawing a kid in one of their classes (they're both teachers) did of them, which is on lined paper. What's the best way of getting rid of the lines?

It's obviously possible if I just get in there and clone them out, but I'm wondering if there's a quicker, cleaner way?

Cheers,
Meef

    Adjustments > Selective Color*

    or

    Adjustments > Replace Color*

    ...

    *Colour

If the drawing is black (gray) and the lines are colored you can probably get rid of the lines with a black and white adjustment layer.
