Very rarely does an RIP warrant it's own thread. For every Steve Irwin being skewered by a sting ray, there's a washed up 70's comedian dying in his sleep.

So, I thought i'd set up this charitable thread for the deadcelebs, who couldn't quite justify a column in their own mourning post.

    First class actor. Such a shame to lose him.

    Incidentally, he played an old man dying of cancer in one of his last films (Inception). That was rather fitting.

    A distinctive early 80's sound ... didn't care for them much myself, but there's few bands where the bass player is as well known as the singer.
