Here's one of my favourites of the year, taken a few months ago (when the sun used to shine).

Geeky info: Canon EOS 400D with 50mm prime lens @ f/4 + CP filter.

Took this at Whitstable beach a couple of weeks ago, fucking freezing day, but some nice light at early sunset for this capture.

For the geeky among you – shot was taken with Canon EOS 400D, 17-85mm USM IS lens (@ 17mm for this shot), f/7.1, ISO 200.

Minor colour tweaking done in Photoshop CS4 (loving the new vibrance adjustment layers…)

I spent a couple of weeks in morocco during September, this is one of my favorites from the last part of the year, it really captured the weather that day, out of frame to the left was a flooded river that destroyed most of the town's crops.

Due to the shit weather (and hardly taking any new shots), been processing some of last years efforts, took this one last summer outside the Lloyds building in the city, a truly stunning piece of architecture.

Thought this worked well monochrome, did a channel-mixed conversion in Photoshop.

Here's another one I took from a different angle, one of the many cool things about this building are the lift capsules that go up and down the very outside of the structure.

It is just as awesome from the inside apparently, but sadly, as I don't earn £200k+ they don't let the likes of me in there, but they do have the odd open day when the general public can go in, will try and go to that in the future, would love some shots of the interior.

Huebert, I particularly like your use of lines from your image in Morocco! The image is tall, but the mountain range and hay lead your eyes to the building-- very nice.

Sorry for the late response. It's an HDR merge shot. Any attempts of realistic saturation once doing an HDR are pretty much worthless. :-P
