Hi

I have a horizontal menu on our WP website and have set the #nav to margin: 258px 0px 0px;

In FF it works perfectly but in IE8 the menu sit maybe 30px to high? which mean it look completely wrong with the background.

We have an important promotion coming up and really need this sorted out asap, any ideas?

I image its something simply that I've missed, but I'm happy to be told so.

sorry cant look at your code right now. but...

if your really cant fix the issue why dont you add a IE only style sheet and add in the extra margin to make it look right. not the best but might be a quick fix.

I have done it, it needed a specific style sheet for just ie8

glad that worked, but its not the best idea to have one just for ie8. my guess is it will still be messed up in ie 6 and 7. you have to remember that 8 is quite new and a lot of the fuckers out there dont update their browsers.
