I was attempting to showcase the visual and literary orgy of spam we are subjected to on a daily basis away from our computers in the real world (ahhhhhhhhhhh!) that we never think twice about. All photos taken by me in downtown Edmonton in/around my school.

btw, how the hell do I mark this thing important? heh

but the word spam -

you could try to incorporate / manipulate it into one of the street signs maybe..?

Hmmm yes, it was disappointing to see signs without stickmen, but still I like the overload of information idea.

nice one... but i also think the 'spam' word should be turned into one of the signs there.... but overall i like it..

thnx a lot peeps, I actually considered it but...I dunno, had a big flash form actionscript thing I had to finish for a school deadline so it's kinda been taking precedent lately on top of the many other things I got going on, so I thought it could work as is. Maybe in a few days I'll think about changing it to integrate "spam" on a sign, wait and see...I usually like leaving my shit as finished when I determine it's finished, so I highly doubt I'll get motivated for it lol.

Nice, like it a lot.

When I think of spam out there in the world I think more of all the corporate advertising and shite I'm having to walk through on the tube everyday, I find the kind of information graphics you've used light relief in a world of garrish over-baring bollox - which I do contribute to of course

heh, I know, I know, but I was going for the more subtle ideas, the ones we don't instantly think about, I figured the corporate advertising-thang was pretty obvious, which is why I used more street signs and such, just as prevalent, just we aren't as actively aware of them
