March 2012 poster Competition

After last month's excellently researched specs, this month it's back to normal. The theme is TOURISM and all you need to do is produce a travel poster enticing the viewer to visit your locale.

If you live in a shithole, do one for a town within a 100 mile radius of home. Illustration may be photographic or vector art - whatever - but all your own work. If you think it worthwhile, include details useful to visitors, e.g. the web address of the local tourist office.

Size/proportions A0, deadline last weekend in March, say midnight Saturday 31st. I'm not fussy.

Congrates Scooby. Not sure if I already heard this. Ignore my ramblings if I did.

I like it the way it is, minus the ellipsis. Nice work.

I must be over-tired... I'm sure I wrote "not sure about the ..." or something like that earlier.

I like that, but it seems some sort of inside joke? It would make me Google the area (which I did) but the text still seems a little too "insider" oriented for tourism advertising. That opinion may very well be because I'm not from the UK, but I still know what roundabouts are since they've brought the fucking things here lately >.<

Yeah, I didn't exactly over-think this. It is a piss-take, basically, but I was so happy with my pun that I couldn't see past it.
