Olives are silly.

Gherkins is where it's at.

Crazy talk. You can't compare an Olive to an undersized pickled cucumber.

Olives are ace, just not in sandwiches. Gherkins in sandwiches, on the other hand, are amazing.

French dipped roast beef with melted jack, dijon mustard and gherkins on a white roll. Sorted.

Anyone from LA here? There's an amazing Sandwich place near the central station called Phillipes. Love that place.

flat bread is the way forward with some of that spikey salad and some cured meat and olive oil.

egg and sausage sandwich also takes a bit of beating

Cheap sarnies are sometimes great. The 'ultimate egg mayo' from Morrisons is ace: loads of egg mayo sandwiched between sliced boiled, in thick white sliced. Ace.

I love Olives. Prefer green over black though.

I'm also now drooling over the desk just reading this thread (especially the link Coops popped up).

Mmmmm I love olives. Sometimes I have a dream where my testicles are two giant olives, one green and one black. I use a long cocktail stick and feed it down my japs and pull out each olive and eat them. Once they are eaten they end back in my scrotum in one piece, I have an unlimited giant olive supply.
