Im getting bored of people making size 1000 size font adding a colour and entering as a 'designed piece' its the biggest cop out ever, and requires no imagination what so ever.

.ps. sorry for being so harsh

VeteraN: disagree completely!
blowing a font up to the extreme makes you see the shape in detail - so you can learn to appreciate it
we are used to see fonts in small size - where the detail gets lost... most fonts have painstakingly designed beautiful curves (/details)! It's an instant abstract shape.
might not require imagination - but emphasizes the creator's... and shows the appreciation.

I disagree with him too!! It's 720 size font! Not 1000!! DUH! :P

then credit the font designer not the person who makes big text and claims it is their 'designed' piece when it obviously took them less the 2 minutes. Total lack of effort.

I could churn about 100,000,000 of those out in a day. without using any thought or design process what so ever.

I think the lens flare compliments it perfectly I was also going to add some drop shadow with some bevel and emboss, prolly a lil stroke too
(sigh)

Ooo, bitchy. Very worthwhile point though. I remember when computer stuff first started taking a grip, I was a signwriter at the time and would spend ages trying to balance everything perfectly. The birds in the office with Corel Draw 5 (or whatever) would create a pixelated monstrosity and call it 'ART'.

Point is, just because you can doesn't mean you have to .

And is taking a free stock photo, add some basic PS filters and text over it very complicated?

And I maybe just added some font in the background, but you're talking like if I only did that...

it's simple: if action is being backed up by thought - everything is justified! (coming back to the conceptualism)

I understand your point - but -
you can think about something for hours... that might only take two minutes to execute! what then?
