Human rights organization, Breakthrough (www . breakthrough . tv) has just launched a logo contest on Flickr for iBreakthrough, its upcoming online street team on FaceBook. iBreakthroughwill be made up of students who use media including videos, video games (ICED! I Can End Deportation), animations and photos from sites like YouTube and Flickr to talk about human rights. So... We need a logo! Participate 1.The logo contest is open to everyone. 2.Designers may submit an unlimited number of design entries into the competition. 3.Entry size must be 250 x 250 pixels. 4.Entry must be in .jpg format – Before final selection, the top 3 designs will be contacted to submit an .ai vector graphic (The design should be scalable for printing) 5.Only use colors from the parent organization's (Breakthrough) logo: Red – R238/G52/B36 Orange- R243/G144/B29 White 6.The deadline for contest entries is January 15, 2008. How to submit (READ CONTEST RULES BELOW FIRST!) 1.Join the Flickr group –iBreakthrough Logo Contest(Public group) - (can't post the url on this post but we're searchable on Flickr) 2.Upload .jpg photos to Flickr 3.Use the "send to group" icon above your image to add your images to group 4.Once added to the group, tag each photo "iBreakthroughlogo" 5.If you do not upload your photo to the "iBreakthrough Logo Contest" group on Flickr, it will not be considered. Prizes 1.$50 iTunes gift card 2.Big Love DVD gift set 3.Ishmael Beah's book, Memoirs of a Boy Soldier 4.Your photo and bio on the Breakthrough website for one week 5.A featured link on our iBreakthrough page and social networking sites 6.An email out to our listserve of close to 7,000 members with your bio and winning logo 7.Your logo on iBreathrough and Breakthrough materials Rules 1.The winning logo may be used on Breakthrough and iBreakthrough materials. 2.The winning submitter must agree to assign all intellectual property rights to Breakthrough and attach no other restrictions to the use of the logo. 3.By submitting an entry into this contest all submitters declare that they do not infringe the rights of another party and that publishing their logos for the purpose of this contest is acceptable. 4.Breakthrough has no obligation to use the winning logo for any purpose whatsoever. 5.Breakthrough has no obligation to choose a winning logo. 6.Breakthrough is not responsible for any lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected or illegal submissions. No entries will be returned. 7.Breakthrough may disqualify any entry based on content and/or production. 8.All costs associated with making and submitting a logo are the contestant's responsibility. Breakthrough will not reimburse or be responsible for any costs incurred in the making or submission of any entry. 9.Submit your logo via Flickr. Please be sure that your entry meets all rules.
