Guys - We are about to launch a new dedicated server sub brand using the domain: 100mbps.com.

Through this design we will be entering the shared & unshared unmetered dedicated server market and we need you guys to make us the best design+logo possible.

We are looking for a great, cool and kickass look and feel.

Style keywords:
- Funky
- Aggressive
- Clean and simple
- Not too "corporate", but still trustworthy
- Web2.0 without being too "wobbly and fluffy"
- Optimized for 1024 with fixed width

What sites do I like?:
- Site5.com
- Mediatemple.net
- Midphase.com
- etc...

Any Special features?
- Yes, the specs of the servers will not be fixed, we will launch new server configs every day. Price will be fixed though, one day you would get a dual Xeon next day a celeron - but at the same price...so its a "snooze you loose" kind off thing. The list of the "servers of the day" should be well integrated in the design.

The contest:
This will be run as two individual contests as we are looking for a Logo AND a Template. And we will be paying $1000 to each of the winners within each category. If one designer is able to make the perfect logo+template he/she will get $2000. Obviously it is easier to make a design work with logo in place, so I encourage you to give it a go on both the logo+design, or to partner up with someone to deliver both logo+template.

The template:
- Should be a psd format template with main page and one subpage
- No coding required
- If only template is submitted there should be a placeholder for logo.

The Logo:
- Should be in vector format.
- Should work on/offline
- Should be horizontal
- Should leave room for a tagline

To enter the contest:
- Entries can be posted below, or via PM or to me directly: ditlev(at)uk2.net
- Initial entries can be posted in jpg/gif/png format
- Each designer can enter with 3 designs

Payment:
- Will be done via bank transfer or via credit card, no paypal.

Deadline etc.:
- Contest will end the 1st of may
- If we find no winner by end of deadline the contest will end with no prizes paid

You've got a fair budget, why not go direct to an agency?

We have design jobs all the time, and this way I will get a chance to find a range of good designers that I can use later on - as well as getting this particular site done.

Do you divide the cash between logo and the web? 1000$ for a logo would give you a decent amount of possibilities to choose from.

yup, thats the way it works - its 1000 for the Logo and 1000 for the template, or 2000 for both
