Again, really like this one as well - its gonna be tough choosing one. Definately like what you have done with the logo better than my attempt.
Good stuff

trust me to be the last one to submit theirs ! lol , its almost finished ...

And they're all quite different so far. You start wanting to take bits from each!

Nice one Stickman, I like it 8)

Thanks for the feedback.

dorian > The image was resized (not in fireworks) so it became blurred, but I wasn't bothered because I was posting a link as well. I'll do it again properly soon.
People were generally agreed that black text on a light background was the way to go, so I thought as we all(?) seem to like Oli's current greyscale style I'd keep that for ease of use when reading/posting, but add colour away from the text elements. I was also aiming for minimal use of images (css was used for borders etc).

If anyone wants to suggest/make any changes feel free.

Would it be possible to keep some space between the logo and the 'control panel' if the screen size is reduced?

Yeah, I'll have a look.

I tried it at 1024x768 and upwards as I didn't think anyone using this forum would be using 800x600 resolution. I'm probably wrong..

No - it was a fair point.

Anyway, its fixed. Added this to css:
[code:1:50f5ec06e8].logo {margin-right: 10px;}[/code:1:50f5ec06e8]

Not sure about the rainbow strip on this one. But at least it has some colour.

I think the next competition should be to redesign the logo. I hate Impact!

impact is alright. i quite like it.
the only thing about the logo is that it doesn't have a symbol: e.g. you can't make a 'favicon' for it...
