We have received over 50 fabulous logo submissions for the CanadianPainters.ca logo contest!

We want to thank all of the artists who donated their time & energy to the contest. We were extremely impressed by your efforts. Since there have been a number of requests for more time to work on logo designs, we have decided to extend the deadline to noon - Monday March 27 2006. This gives everyone the weekend to wrap up any submissions and get them sent in to us.

Since there's a cash prize on the line, it wouldn't be fair to grant an extension to just a select few people so we're going to extend it for everybody.
To try to make it fair for those of you who worked hard and got your submissions in on time, we're going to increase the payoff. Now it's going to be: $ 300 CDN

Mixed bag of entries. I prefer this one, but I'd change the typeface.

The most shitty designs are done by someone from UK (no offence). Most of the designs there are from Poland, which is weird.

I really like the big CP letters of this one:

some of them are just a blatant cheap rip off of some of the other entries

I'd have to agree this above orange one is quite nice but would be hard to use on everything as universially the logo is too large

but very well done.

FYI - a logo doesn’t have to include words - so therefore why would we not be able to make a logo if we couldn’t read! And as I said before, maybe if this forum had some decent moderation where for example the post’s was locked once the deadline completed you wouldn’t get people posting after deadlines - solves both problems
