ROFL. Damn. Gonna is actually going to be accepted into the dictionary for a matter of fact. And yes I should remember my apostrophes. But damn you were pretty sad to go through the post and check all my errors. |

Why do children get not recognition? It’s like in shops, we get stared at because we are children and could steal. Ah it’s just so judgmental. |

who's going to think less of us for trying--people on design forums who think "banner ads" needs a possessive apostrophe? and as for "asda," personally i'm a few years older and i've done mcdonald's, retail, etc. this could be risky, but what exactly are we risking? a few hours of our time and ten dollars on a domain name? i've probably wasted more time dropping off resumés (the local economy's drying up like the town in fiefel goes west). so--any tips, guys? |

Because you haven't proven yourself/given anything to society yet. You haven't graduated from anything, you haven't had a job yet, you haven't paid any taxes. And so on. Children don't get recognition because they're children - you need something to be recognized for in order to get recognition. It doesn't just materialize because you think you're special or talented. I don't mean to sound nasty, but that's a fact of life. |

HAHA, okay lets think about Richard Branson He left school at 15 and started a business at 16. HE technically was still a kid, but he still achieved a lot in life. Your basically saying us Kids can't do that because we are not old enough, how stereotypical can you get. AND for the person who pointed out where the irony was I could see, Just because I am a kid does not mean I don't understand basic English. |

well, next time someone asks you to do some free design for them, you could ask them to come over your house and do some free cleaning/decorating/washing your car etc. for you whatever you feel they are uniquely qualified for. Or you might try saying that you don't have much free time, so some sort of payment might be in order. This could be drugs, sexual favours, or perhaps even money. |

The irony was appreciated by me as i posted this, as a token to you lot. At least i'm not hosting or offering great design at low low prices. And at least i'm literate - Bluesteel's got 2 years on me and can't string a sentence together. I gave up on the web design company idea a while back - i wouldn't bother Novella - get a Saturday job, and get some work experience. (do your worst) |

Branson didn't leave school at 15 at all!!! He was educated at Stowe School (well expensive boarding school) where he started his first little enterprise, a magazine called the Student. So he had financial backing and as much assistance as he wanted. Stowe take students until their 16 so if you give 'em a bell maybe you can finish your education off there. Why do kids seem so eager to leave education and get rich and retire by 20?? Novella, concentrate on your education so you have something to fall back on should you not make it as the next Dickie Branson..... |
