Site-map -- creation resources
Among the very short list of documentation I provide to my clients in the beginning phases of a project, a site-map has been missing for much too long. Now that I'm rolling solo, I figured it's time to remedy that. While employed under 'the man', we always used Visio (shudder) to create 'em, and I had always heard nice things about Omnigraffle (OS X), but never had the opportunity to use it. For those of you who offer site-maps in your client-approval documentation, what apps do you use to create them? I'm leaning towards free or inexpensive, as I have to keep my spending low for the time-being. I own all of the usual suspects, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, Excel, bla bla, but I feel that none of them are capable of creating site-maps easily - I can't be designing a site-map in Illustrator, for example, when I know there must a more appropriate app or method out there. Thanks, all. |
