Pricing Advice - Entire Site Implementation
Hi folks - I am new here, but I am hoping that someone out there is able to give me some general advice on what I should be looking for pricing-wise. Here's the deal. I am a designer by trade, and I was approached to quote out building an entire website - both front end and back end - for a potential client. I would be doing the front end of it - basically it would be an interactive brochure, and I would be contracting out the back end for a developer to build. They are looking for a system where employees can access a repository of information, as well as somewhere where clients can log in and have access to proprietary information. The system will be houses in-house, and it will also be maintained in-house. I have a couple of folks working up bids that I have contacted regarding implementing this project, but I am just trying to have a realistic expectation on what the client is going to expect to hear. I am apparently one of three folks who are going to be bidding on this job. Any help you guys can provide would be very much appreciated. Thanks! |
