It seems you are outside EU regulations, but if India is a member of some international business regulatory organisation, you will be able to sue for your money through them. I wish you luck. It may take years, however, to gain your money, so I suggest you put this unfortunate business deal into the final file (i.e. the waste basket) and gain a deeper understanding of the phrase "Shit happens".
