Outsource from Netherlands to USA
Hi there, Let's say i create a design for a website and i let a company in the USA develop the website (html, css etc). How will this go with import taxes and other taxes? Do i even need to pay import taxes (it's not a physical product, doesn't weigh anything). Thanks, Robin =) |

You aren't paying for a product, you're paying for a service. At least, this is how the Internal Revenue Service in the USA classifies design work! I would say no on the import tax. Just think - have you ever bought web hosting that wasn't from your country? Same kind of thing. |
