Writing proposals

Me and my "examples needed" again!

Anyone know of any resources regarding writing proposals for new media projects or have any examples they'd be willing to share with me?

Help as always appreciated

i do think it would be a good idea to put together a designers talk freelancer's/startup kit - get everyone to collaborate on a contract, a 'fill in the blanks' proposal, invoice sheets, etc. I'd happily help put one together, though i'll be a bit strapped for time over the next few weeks, anyone else want to join in?

for example - i've recently started using a word document, that is referenced to the proposed sitemap, then the client just has to fill in the blanks, and we can just copy and paste content from there, then you dont have the dreaded, 'oh i for got about this bit of content' sysndrome - we wont start on anything untill we get that filled in and signed off, anything extra is chargable work

I have a scope document that is pretty good as well that I will contribute. I don't think scopes and proposals go hand in hand, and it's good to keep them separate...

I bought the book 'Website Redesign - Workflow That Works' about 2 1/2 years ago and found it to be an excellnt resource for putting together proposals, budgets, workflow, project planning etc.

URL contains links to free downloads of some of the resources mentioned above, but I can't recommend the book highly enough
