There's no need - small claims should do it. Naming and shaming may be fine on Watchdog but I wouldn't advise it in this case, personally. Isa has to go down the legal route first.

Hi

Yes, I've never had bad experiences with clients and it has not crossed my mind to defame them.

I'll sit on it for another week or so and then if all does not prevail, I'll go down the legal route.

Hi

An update - it is now the end of the week/month and i still have not been paid. I hope email communication which firstly states the dates I worked and secondly an email saying that my invoice will be paid will be enough for small claims.

It should be as a general rule, but as always paperwork is key!

Hopefully they may just pay when the summons lands...

Is email communication enough to prove that I provided my design services for a week?

The NDA stated the start date until TBC, which I think is rather sly.

All I have is email communication. Is this enough for me to be paid by law?

i would have thought an email from them stating that the work was good and signing the job off would be good enough. otherwise you've got to have proof, which would be the work itself would it not?

A judge will generally consider this sufficient, as long as the email originates from a domain registered to or otherwise under the control of the naughty company...
