Freelancers - how to you pay tax etc.??
Hey all I was going to use this company called Parasol IT but I've found them a bit too slow and my client still hasn't been invoiced 2 weeks later and so I'm going to use someone/something else. I was thinking of finding a local accountant but I'm concerned that might cost a fair bit. Any suggestions? It's just getting tax/NI paid which is my main concern. Anyone in Leeds with any local suggestions? Cheers |

That's what I've chosen to do. The cost of the accountant should be outweighed by his advice when it comes to tax-savings, etc. |

do all the invoicing yourself. speak to an accountant. they'll do your taxes for you at the end of the year and advise you on how much you should be holding back to cover it. try find one that deal specifically with sole traders/freelancers. they're really not that expensive and they'll save you time, money and sleepless nights in the long run. I'm using a large company in bradford atm and seem to be paying for the privilege. I'm ltd though so it's slightly more complicated. I'm looking to change though and had Keith Bonney & Co. in Menston recommended to me. not sure if they're local enough for you though. |
