Legal and Privacy Policy
Hi guys I havent been around for a while but Im back and have a quick question that hopefully you guys can answer for me. Do websites need legal and privacy policies? If so how should I go about making them? Like is there a certain format or layout to use or what? Thanks for the help. |

If you collect private information - or simply want to assure people of your legitimacy - you can use a Privacy Policy. You can write it yourself, if you want. It's always best to consult a lawyer when it comes to legal issues. |

Okay so Im going to assume that if its just a portfolio sort of website that doesnt collect any form of data that I wouldnt need to include these. Am I correct? Does that count for email contacting as well? |

Oh, if it's just for that, I wouldn't worry. You can always simply mention on the contact page something like "Your email address (and other information) will be kept strictly confidential." That's all you'll need for something like that. |
