Hi Everyone We are trying to see how our product could satisfy needs of designers and developpers in the future. We presently get the product tested on http://forums.iwdn.net/viewtopic.php?t=570 by developpers and we would be interested in having the input from designers as well to improve our software (in this thread or IWDN as you prefer). Since we want to have a software becoming a bridge between designers and developpers we need to know your opinion as designers and see what developper think of your reaction. Right now it is being marketed as a product for Web hosts to offer customers. In the future, we would like to see this being used by designers and developers, so that multiple designers and developers in remote locations can work on the same project over a Web interface. It will also be offered as a download to use on your local PC (possibly through a local network server). Seasoned and amateur designers and developers, please review this product! It is our hope it will compete and possibly replace Dreamweaver as a visual editor. Comments regarding the user experience and the output/markup produced are welcome. Here's how you access the demo: 1. Go to http://www.sqlf.com/login.php 2. Username: iwdn | Password: 12345 3. You can now review the product introduction, or continue by choosing the "Page Builder" link in the upper left corner of the screen. 4. After clicking "Page Builder," choose "advanced" in the menu (to access all functionality), and use the same login information from Step #2 to access the interface. 5. The "Click here to start" link will take you to a set of demo pages created to review functionality. Everything should be reasonably self-explanatory, but you can always click the "Help" link in the upper right corner if you're stuck. Kick and punch this as you see fit. It's purely a demo, and you shouldn't be able to break it. I'm sure they would greatly appreciate it if you'd report back here on any security issues that arise as you try this out. To view the results live: http://iwdn.sqlf.com Thanks for checking this out! It's not often you get the opportunity to test a new product in this manner, and I thought you guys would appreciate having the chance to do so and spark some discussion on what you've found. Yes, it's a bit of free testing for us but we need a critical eye on our project and hope it will result in a better Web experience for visitors to a site created through this application. Enjoy the demo - post your feedback in this thread. - Michael P.S. You can post questions to IWDN forum, this one or SQL Fusion forums if you're so inclined: http://www.paspagebuilder.com/forums/ You can reach me at this email address - michael - [at] - sqlfusion.com |
