TCNET - I think you need to step back and take another look at your site.

I sincerely hope youve not got many clients by promoting yourselves as designers.

No offence intended.

I agree with the members posts here, but they are both rude and unhelpful. You people are giving this place a bad rep compared to places like sitepoint.

TCNET - no offence, but you've gotta have some bloody amazing marketing and sales skills if you're making over 150k per year on the strength of that website.

I think you'll find that any member asking for help or advice gets treated very well and their question invariably is answered by someone. The problems start when people try and advertise their design services to a forum of web designers.

Maybe the advertising forum should go and the forum become spam free completely, as this is where most of the flaming starts.

I'd be happy to go round deleting them as they crop up.

I'm inclined to leave it - the odd good offer might pop up & it keeps it out of the main forums.
All people have to do is when something crappy is posted up, leave it, ignore the thread and it won't turn in to a flaming thread.

But then where else would we let off steam without pissing each other off?

We all like a good rant now and again. Some more than others mentioning no names.
