well, when you are working freelance and dont have any jobs on, template designing is a nice way to get some cashflow. I know it goes against our principles as designers zzzzzzzzzZZZZZ etc etc but it pays the bills. ..................

the thing is that I've had some clients come to me with templates that they bought it off the web and they want me to do the modifications. Sucks but sometimes when there's no work, it helps pay the bills. Anyway, most of the template companies out there are so bad it's a joke! Only a couple of them are good. Anybody seen liquid2d.com? I think their templates are worth taking a look at. Even Yahoo now has a new site building option with templates and everything. Probably will hurt business a bit for us. |
