"At TJS WebDesign we aim to offer fantastic customer support, great prices and support for different cultures. The reason you should choose us over alternative web design companies is because we do not use templates created by other companies. All work is either taken from multiple sources or from scratch. We also offer an E-Commerce option for only £500, a lot cheaper than other competitors. For an example of our work please visit our portfolio: PORTFOLIO"

Then I go to the Portfolio
"We are sorry but the Portfolio section is currently offline."

Some top web design tips:

. never use gradients like that as a background, if you do then make sure you set the opacity lower to give a much more softer feel as a standard gradient (white:black) wil affect the text and the text will not be legible.

. Try to scale down your designs, ie: buttons, dont make them so chunky and big, try to stay small and simple.

. Font: Always have a font structure (CSS) Heading bigger than main text, main text small but legible and strong/sharp.

. It may be an idea to draw out your designs a few times on paper than pick out your best design. Also surf around the web and look at other design services, I dont think they will charge £900 lol for a shopping site, if there is a service that would charge £100+ that means it would be scripted using Javascript for example and have a shopping basket, use SQL, have a login process which uses cookies and I dont think you offer such advanced options.

My advice is lay off the designing aspect and learn the basics of web design first which is not the design and layout but the actual language and technology used to design them, first off HTML/CSS/XHTML/Javascript then you can understand how sites are constructed and then worry about how you may like to design it. " you have to learn to walk before you can run".
